Jacksonville GOP Victory Tour
The family and I went to the rally here in Jacksonville today. Originally slated for The Landing, advance interest indicated a much larger crowd so the venue was moved to Alltel Stadium (better known to natives as The Gator Bowl.) In the end over fifty thousand people showed up waving banners, home-made signs, noisemakers and children. My dad brought his Sony Mavica (my camera is out of commission) and I grabbed what shots the single floppy disk we had would hold. Sorry it wasn't more, but I was a last minute inclusion on the roster and didn't have time to be better prepared. Here's a few choice selections, and you can find the rest in the Gallery. Read the useful poker news and get profitable advice at tournament poker rules!
UPDATE: Recap of the event along with observations here.
UPDATE: Velociman has finally posted those pics he promised, and also points us to a pair of pics over at Attaboy's. Hey V-Man... Section 209? Stop your whining, those seats go for two grand a season. What you needed was a camera with a decent zoom. Flash racing games, racing games for free.
Input Return
Great pick. Thanks for the trackback. Ricgh back at you and you're on the roll, too. Go geek.

Thanks! I was just glad to see some other folks had grabbed and shared some good shots. I wish I had exercised a little forethought though and snuck around to the visiting club seats to grab a good pic of the President framed by the flags and the crowd on the East side. Don't know how I managed to neglect that when I spent half the darn time walking around as it was.

Great pics! Well, when I called the local GOP they told me no telephoto lenses. They lied.
